- Teams are four players: one PGA Professional and three amateurs
- Amateurs play net of handicap; professionals play at scratch

Inside the Mind of a Master: An Evening with Butch Harmon
Hosted in The Riviera Country Club Crystal Ballroom overlooking the famed 10th hole, Foundation Classic team members and special guests are invited to an evening of entertainment and fundraising benefitting a great cause — a cocktail reception followed by dinner and a live auction.
About Butch Harmon
Butch Harmon is widely regarded as one of the most influential golf instructors in the history of the game and a proud supporter of the Southern California PGA Section. A member of the World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame, Harmon has coached many of golf’s greatest champions — including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Ernie Els, and Fred Couples. Coming from a legendary golf family — his father, Claude Harmon Sr., won the 1948 Masters — Harmon has long been an advocate for player development, education, and the growth of the game in Southern California. A multi-time Golf Digest “Best Teacher in America,” his impact extends far beyond tour victories.

- Teams may use the Professional’s ball for the team score

Golf as a force for good
In the wake of devastating wildfires across the region — which forced the cancellation of last year’s Foundation Classic at Riviera in the Pacific Palisades — the Foundation, with Presenting Sponsor Titleist / FootJoy, distributed clothing and essentials to affected families, joined the SCGA in a golf-industry relief fundraiser, and donated more than 40 complete sets of golf clubs to four high schools impacted by the Eaton Canyon Fire. We’re proud to be back at The Riviera Country Club to host the 2026 Foundation Classic.
